Welcome to VIEW
Volunteer Initiatives for Election Watch (VIEW) is an organization that promotes citizen reporting on election (law) violations. At VIEW, we believe in the power of people to shape the future of democracy. We prioritize grassroots involvement, empowering everyday citizens to take an active role in safeguarding democracy and protecting the integrity of elections. Our diverse network of volunteers brings together individuals from all walks of life, united by a shared commitment to electoral transparency and fairness. Join us in our mission to ensure fair, transparent, and accountable electoral processes.

What We Do
01.
— Citizen Reporting
Through our TELLVIEW platform, we empower citizens to become real-time monitors. We deploy thousands of trained volunteers to polling stations and campaign rallies to document, verify, and report violations securely.
02.
— Network Building
Electoral integrity is a global effort. We foster robust partnerships with other NGOs, civil society organizations, and international electoral observation missions to share best practices and resources.
03.
— Media Advocacy
We work proactively with broadcasters and publishers to encourage fair, unbiased, and factual reporting. Our goal is to combat misinformation and ensure voters have access to reliable information, especially in the 72 hours preceding an election.
04.
— Fundraising
Our independence is critical. We ensure our funding comes from diverse, ethical sources and maintain a public, transparent record of all income and expenditure, as seen in our Transparency Dashboard.
05.
— Policy Reform
We don’t just observe; we push for change. Based on our field research and data analysis, we develop policy briefs and lobby policymakers to close loopholes and strengthen electoral laws.
